To admire a 360° view of the Pyrenees, access the Pic Du Midi either by gondola or on foot via the Col du Tourmalet.
You can make the most of the terraces, the new footbridge above a stunning drop, a visit to an observatory of great scientific value, and the highest museum in Europe, which tells the exciting story of the human saga involved in building this exceptional site. Freeride skiing and mountain biking down from the summit. Night-time activities beneath the starry sky.
When you access the Pic du Midi via the Col du Tourmalet, you will go through the lovely village of Barèges, with many opportunities for hiking, mushroom-picking and fishing. There is also a cinema, and you can ride a mountain bike down after travelling up on the La Laquette chairlift.
The biggest Tour de France enthusiasts can ascend the Col du Tourmalet, starting from Luz-Saint-Sauveur and finishing in Bagnères de Bigorre.
Our campsite is located among the great Pyrenean mountain passes...
