Lourdes

32 km from the campsite lies the sanctuary of Lourdes.

From April to October, 22 places of worship celebrate mass in all the different languages. You can also attend the big celebrations like the international mass, the Eucharistic procession in the afternoon, and the torch-lit Marian procession every evening.

From November to March, many services also take place every day, such as the masses, the Rosary, the Angelus...

There is also:

-The Pic du Jer funicular at the entrance to Lourdes. You can then travel down to the town on foot or by mountain bike.

-The Bétharram Caves, by train and boat and with a guide. Visitors enter the mountain through a natural opening: the upper part contains huge chambers filled with concretions.

-Lake Lourdes, where you can enjoy activities at Lourdes Beach in the summer: pedalo, stand up paddle, kayak and canoe rides, or alternatively fishing, hiking and mountain biking.
