The Pyrenees National Park is France's third biggest national park. It participates in the conservation of local animal and plant life, with a charter designed to promote and develop our valleys in a sustainable way. The core of the national park spans the territory of Hautes-Pyrénées, and includes our valley of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, encompassing Gavarnie, the Estaubé Cirque and Les Gloriettes, the Troumouse Cirque, the Vignemale, the Pic du Midi... The border extends as far as Spain, where it is called the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.
